DiRaRem
Frequency Database Management

DiRaRem is a comfortable frequency database management software which allows easy frequency tuning from different frequency listings. The selected frequency is transferred to to the ControPanel.
This software was first developed by our customer Frank Deinhard for his own purposes. We were so enthustiastic about this software that we were lucky to convince him to make it available for common use.
DiRaRem has the following features:
Frequency Databases
DiRaRem manages three different frequency listings:
1. My own List >>> The personal list with individual entries
2. DRM-List with actual DRM frequencies
3. AM-List with over 4400 entries of AM broadcast stations
Frequency Tuning
To select a certain frequency from a schedule simply dounle-click the entry and the frequency is automatically transferred to the ControlPanel and sent to the DiRaBox.
Functions
- Sorting by frequency or country
- Up/Down stepping
If more than one entry is listed for a certain frequency all alternative stations are shown on an extra window named Possible station(s) for:
With the Move st. window button you may pass the Windows focus on this external window, in order to obtain the possibility to move it to any place you want.
Editing of My personal List
The actual chosen station is also shown on a separate line named Editable Line containing frequency and comment:
Here it is also possible to edit the entry or generate a complete new entry.
The entry begins allways with the frequency (format XX.XXX MHz). After separation with space-bar an individual comment or station description could be added.
Besides this it is also possible to add stations from the AM or DRM database. Here a suffix AM or DRM is added automatically at the end of the entry.
Installation
All files contained in the downloaded zip-file have to be unzipped into the directory,
where DiRaBox is already installed.Start the software by simply double-clicking the DiRaRem icon. The ControlPanel is automatically enabled.
Because DiRaRem uses a few windows (station list, station window,ControlPanel & SDR application window) we recommend to use a minumum display resolution of 1280x1024 pixels for best usability.

We provide two different versions, one for parallel port (LPT) and the other for USB adapter (different DiRarem.ini file).
